UNIVERSE

Engaging with a new individual is like embarking on an exhilarating journey through their unique universe. What wonders will this expedition reveal?

When I initiate a conversation with someone new, I feel akin to a child discovering the world, unaware of the meanings behind people's actions, words, or gestures. I approach with an open mind, ready to absorb every detail. In those initial moments of acquaintance, everything about a person feels enchanting and extraordinary. I'm sure you can relate. Think back to your first experiences—tasting ice cream for the first time, bouncing on a trampoline, or even taking your first fall. Countless moments of novelty.

Within my imaginary notes, you'll find insights into how a person speaks, thinks, and jokes. You'll learn what captures their attention, what they find beautiful, and how they perceive the world and themselves. Naturally, you'll also discover my own impressions on these matters. Yet, it's crucial to acknowledge that these interpretations are subjective and may not necessarily align with reality. They are simply a product r of what a person chooses to reveal and how I perceive and interpret that information.

To truly comprehend someone's universe, more than a lifetime is required (and sometimes, understanding ourselves can be a challenge). Nevertheless, this voyage is remarkably captivating.

Yet, a question lingers in my mind. If each person is uniquely extraordinary, with their own remarkable inner world, why do we sometimes disregard specific individuals while being enthralled by others? We may label someone prosaic or dull upon initial observation, passing them by without allocating even 15 minutes of our time.

Yet, we find ourselves captivated by the lives of actors, singers, politicians, and athletes—individuals with whom we have no personal connection. Do they genuinely possess more fascinating inner worlds than, say, our own neighbor?

Perhaps the person we perceive as unremarkable and uninteresting holds hidden greatness that we simply fail to recognize. Alternatively, are some individuals we encounter merely empty vessels drifting along the tides of life?

The answer remains elusive, but the exploration continues.
